- The family of Pat Junkermeier, who passed away July 9. Pat often shared her gifts at The Gathering organizing the bookstore. She was a member of the Wichita (Kan.) First Church of the Brethren.
- The family of Kent Naylor, who passed away August 25. A memorial service will be held October 3, 11am at the McPherson (Kan.) Church of the Brethren. An ordained minister in the Church of the Brethren, Kent pastored numerous congregations across the mid-west, was a chaplain later in his career, and served Western Plains District as Moderator in 1995. He was a member of the McPherson congregation.
