Participants needed for “We Are Able” workcamp

Each year denominational workcamps are organized for the youth and young adults of the Church of the Brethren. The “We Are Able” workcamp is being planned for June 29-July 2. It is a workcamp for young adults (ages 16-23) with intellectual disabilities. This year, participants will be staying in New Windsor and serving with SERRV and at the Material Resources warehouse.

Currently, this workcamp does not have enough participants signed up to run this summer. It’s a great workcamp, and organizers would really like to see it happen again this year. They are willing to be flexible with ages of those who attend, as they would like to be welcoming to as many people as possible.

Please pass on this opportunity to those who might be interested in attending. For more information, please contact workcamp coordinator Hannah Shultz by phone (847-429-4328) or by email hshultz@brethren.org .
