Ministry Update

Barbara Avent was ordained to ministry on May 24. She is a member of the Prince of Peace Church of the Brethren in Littleton Colo. Barbara ministers through her Beloved Community Ministry, which includes working with students at Aurora Central High School as Co-site Coordinator for Agape Satyagraha curriculum from On Earth Peace and teaching conflict transformation and peacemaking skills as one of six mentors. Barbara also publishes articles on peace and justice, serves on the board of On Earth Peace, teaches workshops on Beading for Peace, and designs, creates, and sells her peace jewelry.
