Our Time Together

Past events have focused on various aspects of becoming a community in which Spirit of Christ can take flesh. In this event we will continue our quest for attitudes and skills which encourage congregations to demonstrate the Spirit of Christ in their life together. In particular, we want to face some of the difficulties in actually becoming the new community talked about in the New Testament. Duane Grady, now pastor at the Cedar Lake Church of the Brethren in Indiana, will lead our biblical and mutual exploration of this theme.

In addition, during our time together, we will learn about KonXion (“Connection”). This is a new design for continued transformation to be introduced to congregations in the fall. Participants at previous Pastor/Leader events have helped to fashion this new design and there will be opportunity for further input in October. Dale Minnich and the KonXion Design Team will lead the session on this new way of encouraging congregational discipleship and transformation.

Good fellowship, sharing with friends, learning new skills, searching the Scripture, eating and worshipping together are part of what has made this time such a valuable time. Local leaders and pastors share a great experience undergirding continued transformation among our congregations. Join us!
